You still have the document production problem – no Word for Linux. However, between the various document production tools available, you should be able to produce a readable specification on your LINUX box.
Tigris.ORG’s Argo/UML - Provides some of the same automation features of a commercial CASE tool, but focuses on features that support the cognitive needs of designers. Pure Java. Generates Java, and GIF.
Dia - A diagramming tool that supports UML modeling and runs on Linux.
FreeCASE - Some kind of LINUX CASE tool.
KUML - CASE tool for Linux.
Object Artist - Yet Another CASE tool.
Unimodeler - A small CASE tool, runs under Linux.
OpenThorn - A UML modeling tool that supports C++ code generation and runs on Windows, Linux and Macintosh platforms. Not to be confused with Win32’s Thorn (Opposite of ROSE, get it?)
